Well i have a difference of opinion i got a tattoo done off calvin in August 07 on my foot eight stars i got three big stars & 5 lil ones but i got the lil ones coloured it looked great,
Then the next day my foot started to hurt a bit so i went down to him & he said it was fine & normal but by the end of the night i couldn't walk & when i went back to him he was saying it wasnt the tattoo causing my foot to swell but it was, i arrived home 2 days later by this time i couldnt put my foot to the ground coz it was so sore i went straight to the doctor & he prescribed antibiotics & said it was caused by the tattoo

When i went back in Dec 07 he wouldn't accept that it was his fault that my foot ended up this way.....

To anybody reading this message stay away from him......

Default tattoo

hey im not saying you wrong about your tattoo but six of us got tattoos while on hoilday in turkey last year ranging from a huge angel on the back to the smallest which was on my friends foot and she was the only one who had trouble and also needed anti biotics it seems the foot is the most sensitive area also you are walking on it putting pressure on the wound.
in puerto rico
the previous summer my hubby got a cover up at NO NAME tattoo shop next to the caribe bar opposite snoopys and they did a FAB job. picture is on thier wall [indian on arm]

I can?t really say much on the subject of tatoos coz I haven?t got any myself, but they do look like they hurt!!! owch
Do you have to do anything special to look after them in the sun? Im sure ive seen people with clingfilm on theirs.??? Is that to protect the colour or to stop your skin getting infected?

hi, the clingfilm is to protect it and keep cream on immediately after its done ... but its best to wait until day before you go home or keep it out of direct sunlight and use plenty of vaseline to stop it drying out and never pick of the scab as the colour will fade

The best thing to do with a tattoo when it`s first done is to keep it lightly covered & protect from the sun as it can cause a reaction with the ink that will cause irritation with the skin, also apply savlon & or pile creme e.g preparation h or anusol approx every half hour on the first day & then two to three times a day for a fortnight after. I know sounds a bit weird, but it was a tattooist who has been in the business for years who told me.

I´ve been in the business for 20 years in the UK, USA, and main land Europe. I´ve only ever used the same products through out my career.Every tattoo i do i tell people how to after it. With feet you have to take extra care as you should not wear socks or shoes that cover the tattoo for at least 2 weeks. I tell all my customers local and tourists alike if you are unhappy with your tattoo in any way come back to the shop and i´ll re-do there tattoo for free.I guarantee all my work. Many thanks Calvin Carville
