Hi Guys,

My gf and I are heading to Puerto Rico in Jan 2008. Just want to see if anyone has some information on whats cool to do? night life wise and during the day, we are going for two weeks and besides partying and getting tan (I hope there will be lots of sun) we want to do things during the day, any suggestions?

and is there any surf?

Hi Dave welcome to the forums. There are so many things to do here it's unbelievable. Check out our bars section and shopping section while you are here.

Here are some ideas for other things to do:

*Camel Safari on The Sand Dunes
*Hire a car and explore the mountains and end up in a random tapas bar
*Helicopter Trip
*Palmitos Park
*Aquasur
*Go to the Capital - Las Palmas
*Boat Trip - see some dolphins, or go on a booze cruise.

Loads of sporty things too, there is a surf school in Puerto Rico somewhere I saw a flyer once.

Scuba Diving Lessons, Parascending,

Surfing in Arguineguin or in Pozo Izquierdo near Vecindario or in Las Palmas.

Visit the local markets.....Mogan on Fridays, Arguineguin on Tuesdays.

Full day trip to Tenerife Loro Parque.

Romantic walks down beach roads.....have a meal on Amadores Beach and walk to Puerto Rico Harbour.....

I can tell you loads more info tell me what you are more interested in doing.....I hope this has given you a few ideas and I am sure other forum members will be able to suggest things too.

If you are here for 6th January which is Los Reyes Magos (spanish Christmas) you will see parades on the 5th January with 3 Kings riding camels or donkeys and throwing sweets like missiles to the crowds. Thats quite nice and festive

like Vikki says theres loads but depends on what you wanna do really,are you sporty,like shows etc? i know a few that go surfing but they head up north the islands as the waves are bigger,theres lots of places to go diving,a good few show bars,theres a western town called sioux city you will hear about from your rep...if you like buggy's and quads etc theres a few of them trips about and tons of boat trips on offer,just go down to harbour for these.
As ya here with ya GF you might wanna do a photoshoot together? my mate Charlotte does this,shes done all mine and is very good and a fraction of what you would pay in Uk,plus you can go on the beaxh or somewhere posh for it...awwww!
