With it being so cloudy today I?m not sure how visable tonights total lunar eclipse will be.
It can be seen in full from most of Europe and America, so if you can keep those peepers open til about 1.30am tonight going into tomorrow it will be worth a look. Unlike solar eclipses which happen in the day, a lunar eclipse can be viewed safely by the naked eye.
I remember seeing the one in August last year from the Altamadores and it was very mystical and blood red at one point. A few locals were supersticious when I asked them about it and said they were weary, and it?s a bad sign.
