Spain win EURO 2008
Last night was a fantastic atmosphere as the final of euro 2008 came to an end with Spain beating Germany 1-0. There were fireworks exploding all over Puerto Rico and Arguineguin, car horns were beeping and people gathered in Arguineguin to watch the match in the Plaza on a big screen.
Not a big football fan myself, but the atmosphere was electric and filled with excitement so it was easy to join in with all the fun. In Spain it is normal to gather round the nearest fountain for celebration so if you saw people jumping in the roundabout fountain in Puerto Rico or the Whales Tale at Arguineguin I hope you weren't too shocked
So all you football haters you now have a rest from football before it all starts again, so your turn to take control of the tv again for a while heheh
