Took a trip to Las Arenas yesterday and we saw the Belen (nativity scene) which was so detailed its unbelievable, you should go and check it out, it's next to Mcdonalds on the top floor.

Then next to the Belen is the Canary Iceland ice rink, which is the biggest I have seen it since the expansion of the centre.

They had some funky music on while people skated round, I didn't join in but we watched for a bit.

At the moment I am writing this entry from Malibu Apartments in Costa Adeje in South of Tenerife. It's my first time to the island and my first impression is it is so different but then the same in a strange way to Gran Canaria.

Noticed a poster in Arguineguin the other day saying the street parties for the Virgin del Carmen will be:

Arguineguin-11th July - 19th July
Mogan - 20th July -29th July

im not sure if I got the dates totally correct and will have to check again, but thats all I could remember off the top of my head.

Virgin del Carmen is the protector of the sea and many small fishing villages and towns celebrate this. There will be fiestas and celebrations starting...

Get yourself into holiday mood or beat the holiday blues by inviting some friends round and making some cocktails.

There are plenty of different recipes out there just do a google search for how to make cocktails. I prefer to make my own and just have fun.

Grab some vodka slosh it in a glass with ice, then add some orange juice, lemon juice/peach juice and add some grenadine for colour.
