Minanas Restaurant - Puerto Rico
I remember my first time at Minanas Restaurant in Puerto Rico, and I just whish I could go back to that astonishing feeling I got when I first passed the bar and was guided to the sofas with a glass of their finest red whine and a huge plat with assorted tapas. (And then I don?t mean potatoes with something orange sauce supposed to be ?Mojo Rojo?, but really good Jamon Serano and Spanish cheese).
After being used to that prefabricated food and stress you get at the Puerto Rico Centre, Juan?s cooking and Minanas atmosphere made me dream back to the time I was living in Seville. I really love that cosiness over the place, the quality of Juan?s cuisine, and Peter, who is trying the best as he can, even though you still will noticing that this haven?t been his profession for life.. But it is Peters little flaws and personality that?s makes this restaurant so real and down to earth.
I don?t recognize myself in anything like undercooked food, so I will advise you ?cuteek? to listen to your friends and try it out again.
For me; I go to Minanas for more than just the food. I go there for relaxing, and enjoyment, and really having a quiet evening away from the daily stress, which you normally have here in Puerto Rico.
