Another hot day, looks like the rain has dissapeared anyway. Looks like nice weather all the way into the weekend when we could see some more of the cloud appearing again around Sunday or Monday.

Hot hot hot once again, went for a walk this morning from Arguineguin to Anfi del Mar and I think my walks will have to be scheduled for much earlier in future as today at 10.30am was too hot to be walking round. The beaches were nice and quiet though. ☼

Another scorcher, hazy and hot, drink plenty of water, apply the suncream and chill out.

I'm afraid the weather reports are beginning to get boring but at least it's nice for all you holidaymakers. Another scorcher!

Had an afternoon down at Anfi del Mar beach yesterday and temperatures at 5pm were 37degrees!!! If you do go down to the beach, pool or just out and about in general you need to be extremely careful as not only can you get sunstroke from too much sun, but you can also get heat exhaustion.

Drink plenty of water, wear a hat and sit underneath an umbrella if you are outside.

34 degrees at 1pm today in Patalavaca near Arguineguin.!!! Blue skies all the way but the usually reliable government weather site is predicting a cloudy windy week, so let's hope it's not a calima or we will melt.

The Weather. Forecast by Locations: Mogán - Agencia Estatal de Meteorología - AEMET
Remember what I was saying yesterday about the wind? Well now there is an official weather warning of expected winds affecting Gran Canaria and the other Canary Islands for tomorrow with gusts reaching up to 80 km/h! Also a high chance of rain for Saturday - I think it will be welcome after the heat we are experiencing.

The daytime temperatres are currently flirting around the high 30's what we do not need is a calima right now. Will keep you updated as always.

Remember water water water, shade and suncream oh and of course siestas!
