UPDATE: You can now find all of our weather reports in our Puerto Rico blog! The great thing is they are set out easier to read and you can still comment!

For the last few days the sky has been hazy and very warm due to a calima. Today the sky has been quite overcast but the sun has just popped out and the temperatures have dropped back down to normal and now there is a nice breeze.

Earlier on it looked like it could rain, if it does it will get rid of all the sand hanging around in the air.

Seems a bit clearer now although last night was quite humid and sticky. I still think we need some rain to get rid of this dust and sand thats still lingering in the air.
According to the official weather site Puerto Rico Gran Canaria Weather link on our weather page, today is going to see high winds and 10percent chance of rain, whether or not that will happen is another thing.
I heard it rained quite a bit in Fataga over the weekend so lets see if that make sits way down to the south.

Just realised I haven't updated on here lately but I'm sure you all know that in the summer here there is not much to report regards weather. Sun sun sun!

The beaches were full today as we enjoy the last day of August here in Gran Canaria. In Arguineguin this morning around 11am there was a big grey cloud and it squeezed about 6 drops of rain onto our car windscreen but that was about it.

Temperature in Arguineguin has been about 35 degrees.....keep putting that suncream on and stay in the shade in the hottest times and drink loads of water

Well today at 10am is..........overcast and gloomy!!!

Yesterday didnt even start out like this and we saw those infamous blobs of rain. My report is coming from Arguineguin at the moment and although it doesn't feel cold it's definatley a nice change to beiing too hot all the time.

There is actually 20% chance of rain today here in Mogan but who knows?

Predicción por Localidades: Mogán - Agencia Estatal de Meteorología

Later I will report from Vecinadario maybe it is chucking it down there

Yesterday we had a storm in the evening and its been really cloudy today with rain on and off. The sky still looked full of rain earlier and we will probably have some more during the night I think.

unfortunately yep we had rain what couldn't decide and now I have just woken up to see bright sunny skies. As usual the rainy weather doesn't last that long in Canaries.

I did notice the island of La Palma had a weather warning of very heavy rain at the same time we had our storm.

Just checked the forecast looks like sunny skies til next week when we could get bit more rain.
