Hey,
I'm planning on going to Puerto Rico with my boyfriend in August and just really wanted to know what the place is like.
Mainly what crime is like as im only 16 and its my first time abroad without my parents watching over me.
We're planning on staying at the Club Hotel Riu Vistamar, has anyone here been there before? Any feedback?
Any other info you could give me would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the forums vicky ,

The place in August as the rest of the year is great, August is the busiest month of the year, and one of the hottest aswell.

The hotel is wonderful overlooking the sea , the food is excellent and is only about 5 minutes in a taxi to Puerto Rico Shopping Center where all the nightlife is on.

Crime wise the place is not any worse than the rest of the world, there are good people and bad people, nothing to worry about.
